Salary: R 215 736. 00 p.a – R 241 152. 00 p.a ( Level 9 of a Grade 08 Local Authority)
Total package inclusive of all benefits: R 356 941. 92 p.a

REQUIREMENTS

  • Grade 12.
  • Computer literacy Certificate.
  • Valid Driver’s License (added advantage).
  • Computer literacy (MS Word, excel and PowerPoint).
  • Excellent interpersonal & communication skills.
  • Secretarial and administration skills.
  • Strong work ethic.
  • Adaptability, communication, assertiveness/leadership skills, conflict and stress management, negotiation skills, problem solving skills, office/diary management skills, strong administrative skills, writing and typing skills, attention to detail, strong understanding of the motor vehicle industry.
  • 02 to 03 years relevant experience in general work related within Local Government Authority.

DUTIES
-General admin duties related to Council Fleet including:

  • Performing fast and accurate typing duties for the Fleet Coordinator by utilizing a word processor or personal computer to maintain effective administration within the section.
  • Maintain an effective and efficient filing/records system of documents related to insurance claims for vehicle accidents,
    clearance requests, pre-authorizations, sundry and payment documentation, and any other such documents.
  • Perform leave administration duties.
  • Handles all external and internal queries regarding council vehicles booked through external service provider for minimisation of turnaround times, complaints, and improvements of the essential services Car wash duties attending to mayoral vehicles immediately when they drive into the workshop and releasing them as soon as possible.
  • Provide timeous feedback on vehicle reports send through from different departments about vehicle status.
  • To ensure effective and efficient service delivery.
  • Perform any other related Ad Hoc tasks and duties as requested or required by management (supervisor) from time to time.
