The successful candidate will be required to sign a performance agreement and perform various security-related duties to ensure the safety and security of employees, visitors, assets, and government property.

Minimum Requirements

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will perform a wide range of security-related duties aimed at protecting government buildings, personnel, visitors, equipment, and sensitive information.

Visitor Management and Access Control

Duties will include:

  • Determining whether visitors have appointments or identifying the services they require.
  • Contacting relevant employees to verify appointments.
  • Directing visitors to appropriate service delivery points.
  • Utilizing walk-through metal detectors to enhance access control.
  • Ensuring unauthorized persons do not gain access to government premises.
  • Preventing dangerous objects from entering the building.
  • Maintaining and completing admission control registers.
  • Issuing admission control cards and related documentation.
Security Monitoring

The Security Officer will be responsible for:

  • Monitoring all access points within the facility.
