Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Laboratory Technician at GENEdiagnostics in the City of Cape Town. The Laboratory Technician will be responsible for performing day-to-day laboratory tasks, utilizing laboratory equipment, applying analytical skills, ensuring quality control, and assisting in laboratory procedures.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (HonsBSc/BTech) in Medical Science (preferred) or related field
- Laboratory Equipment and Laboratory Skills
- Analytical Skills and Quality Control
- Experience or knowledge in Laboratory Medicine
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Knowledge of laboratory safety procedures
- Intermediate computer literacy (Microsoft Office – Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Email etc.)
