Tshwane University of Technology invites interested and suitably qualified candidates to apply for the position of Driver to be based at Soshanguve Campus.

The Department of Transport Services in the Directorate of Logistical Services,has a driver position available at Soshanguve Campus.

Key performance areas/Core functions:
•To provide en efficient services of TUT fleet vehicles as scheduded and /or requested.
•Transporting students for academic purposes
•Transporting employees for meeting, workshops and lecturing
•Pre-trip Vehicle inspections
•Report accidents to transport officer
•Record keeping of kilometers on log sheets
•Reporting of all minor and major damages to vehicles

Minimum Requirements:
•NQF level 1
•General Education and Training
•(Grade 9/ABET Level 4 National Certificate
•Relevant driver’s license

Other special Requirements
•Driver’s license EC (Code 14)
•Public Driver Permit (PDP)

Experience:
•1-Years relevant experience in the specified area

Knowledge
•Current road traffic rules and regulations (NB: public driving requirements, Basic vehicle inspection and maintenance)
