Requirements:
- Grade 12
- Knowledge of traffic laws
- Physical fit
- No criminal record
- No experience required
Key Performance Areas
- Monitors traffic movement and road situations
- Patrolling an area, check traffic movements and look for illegally parked vehicles.
- Ensures law enforcement of traffic breaches
- Reporting irregularities and violation of the law that cannot be enforced.
- Drives awareness campaigns and traffic educational programmes.
- Suggesting for improvement of various traffic problems.
- Preventing violation of traffic rules.
- Checking parking meters, signs or road markings that need maintenance.
