About the Role
The Information Communication and Technology Officer will monitor, maintain, and provide support services relating to computer systems and networks. Key Responsibilities
Network Administration
The incumbent will be responsible for a range of network administration and ICT support functions, including:
- Installing, configuring, monitoring, and maintaining computer hardware and software systems.
- Managing operating systems, computer networks, and related applications.
- Providing technical advice and support regarding ICT infrastructure requirements.
- Assisting with the procurement of suitable ICT systems, applications, and network solutions.
- Supporting the adaptation, modification, and rollout of ICT infrastructure and applications.
- Gathering and analysing user requirements to improve technology solutions and overall user satisfaction.
- Diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues promptly and effectively.
- Supporting the management and maintenance of the organization’s website alongside the relevant Application Support Officer.

Minimum Requirements
Applicants interested in this opportunity must meet the following minimum educational requirements:
Minimum Qualification
- National Diploma in Information Technology (IT), Information and Communication Technology (ICT), Network Security, or a related field at NQF Level 6.
Advantageous Qualification
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology (IT), Information and Communication Technology (ICT), Network Security, or a related field at NQF Level 7.
Candidates possessing the higher qualification may have an added advantage during the selection process.
Experience Requirements
Applicants should have:
- Up to five years of relevant experience in Network Administration, Information Technology, or IT Security.
The position requires practical experience in supporting ICT infrastructure, maintaining systems, managing networks, and addressing technical issues within an organizational environment.
Experience in implementing technology solutions, maintaining system reliability, and supporting end-users will be beneficial.
