Description:
Health Systems Trust (HST) seeks to appoint 35 Data Capturers for the National Department of Health Global Fund Tuberculosis (TB) Project in the eThekwini district. The role supports the Digital X-Ray programme team with data capturing and management activities, focusing on TB data at supported health facilities and community levels. Responsibilities include capturing, verifying, and reporting data, ensuring data accuracy, and identifying linkage referrals for patient tracking and tracing. This is a fixed-term contract position, renewable based on funding availability.
Key Responsibilities
Relationship Building: Establish and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders.
Data Management:
Capture, record, and report data collected from TB screening in communities and facilities, attached to DCXR containers.
Generate daily, weekly, and monthly data reports.
Collaboration: Work with colleagues, project management, and Department of Health staff to capture relevant data and meet project objectives.
Monitoring, Evaluation, and Reporting:
- Collect and verify data daily, weekly, and monthly to ensure quality.
- Conduct data clean-up as needed.
- Perform filing and administrative duties, including ad-hoc tasks.
Reporting:
- Submit accurate weekly, monthly, and ad-hoc reports on time.
- Maintain an accurate vehicle log.

Education Required

- Experience in recording and reporting TB and HIV data.
- Knowledge of health Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) systems is advantageous.
- Experience in a donor-funded environment is advantageous.
- No criminal record.
Remuneration
- Salary package ranges from R222,703 to R279,385.67 (Total Cost to Company), based on Global Fund requirements.
