The City of Johannesburg is seeking suitably qualified candidates for short-term contract positions under the Expanded Public Works Programme (EPWP): Opportunity Centre: Cleaner, with a duration not exceeding 10 months.

Minimum Requirements:
  • South African citizen
  • Reside within the jurisdiction of the City of Johannesburg
  • Minimum Grade 10 qualification
  • Grade 12 advantageous
  • No prior experience required

Primary Function:

Perform cleaning duties including dusting, mopping, vacuuming, and washing in and around the Opportunity Centre. Ensure floors remain clean, trash bins are emptied regularly, and assist with preparing and serving beverages during meetings, training sessions, and workshops.
