Requirements:
- Recognised academic qualification: Senior Certificate / National Senior Certificate / National Senior Certificate Vocational.
- Applicants must be either:
- Registered students at tertiary institutions (preferably second year or above),
- Unemployed persons with one or more tertiary qualifications,
- Unemployed graduates.
- Must have numerical skills with Math / Mathematical Literacy at Grade 12 level.
- Previous experience as an Examination Assistant or Quality Assurer in District Office / Marking Centre or Office is advantageous.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Main Responsibilities:
- Receive, check, control, scan, and pack exam scripts daily.
- Ensure correct number and batch details (scripts, marksheets) per subject, paper, session.
- Resolve any discrepancies related to scripts and marksheets.
- Ensure scripts bags include two copies of MP Flow control list and are properly labelled (colour coded).
- Create marking centre files of scripts for dispatch.
- Assist in dispatching scripts to marking venues.
- Archive scripts after marking for easy retrieval.
- Receive and archive marked scripts at Head Office.
Important Notes:
- Persons writing National Senior Certificate / Senior Certificate and AET exams in 2025, those who took the VSP, or those employed elsewhere cannot apply.
- Only applications submitted after 12 August 2024 will be considered.
