LEGAL ADMINISTRATION OFFICER
REF NO: FSPT 021/25
SALARY: Grade 3-5: R324,579 – R1,111,323 per annum (basic salary)
Salary will be determined according to years of post-qualification legal experience in accordance with the OSD Determination.
CENTRE: Bloemfontein

REQUIREMENTS:

  • LLB degree or equivalent/recognized four-year law degree
  • At least 2 years post-qualification legal experience
  • Knowledge of Public Finance Management Act, Municipal Finance Management Act, Treasury Regulations, Public Service Regulations, and other relevant Public Sector legislation
  • Computer literate
  • Good business communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills
  • Valid driver’s license

DUTIES:

  • Identify legal capacity gaps within the Department
  • Market the Legal Management Framework
  • Provide ongoing support and guidance on implementation of Legal Management Framework and guidelines
  • Liaise with Department stakeholders on legal matters
  • Analyze documents and provide legal advice
  • Monitor application of legal matters
  • Act as presiding officer during disciplinary hearings
  • Draft legal service level agreements and monitor compliance
  • Create awareness on legal matters
  • Manage human resources of the Division to ensure smooth functioning
