EPWP Project Support Opportunities 2026 Now Open Across South Africa

The Department of Forestry, Fisheries and the Environment invites interested and suitably qualified candidates to apply for EPWP Project Support opportunities on a one-year fixed term contract. The programme is aimed at affording youth an employment opportunity to gain valuable work experience in different fields such as data capturing, project coordination, monitoring and evaluation, compliance, reporting, and youth development. Opportunities are available in provinces across South Africa including Gauteng, Limpopo, Mpumalanga, KwaZulu-Natal, Eastern Cape, Free State, North West, Northern Cape, and Western Cape.

Successful applicants will receive monthly stipends ranging from R7 260 to R8 800 depending on the position and group applied for. The available positions include EPWP Data Capturer, Project Support, Monitoring and Evaluation, Compliance, EPWP Coordination, Team Leader roles, Project Data Coordinators, Project Data Support, and Data Capturer: EPWP Reporting. Applicants must possess a recognised three-year Bachelor’s Degree, National Diploma, or equivalent qualification in a related field, while preference will be given to candidates with zero to two years of relevant experience.
