Minimum Requirements

- Capturing patient demographic information accurately, including names, identification numbers, contact information, and medical aid details.
- Recording doctor information, practice numbers, and referring healthcare facilities correctly.
- Capturing laboratory test codes, tariffs, quantities, and service dates into the operating system.
- Verifying ICD-10 codes, procedure codes, and tariff information where applicable.
- Ensuring accurate linkage between operational systems and finance or billing systems.
- Validating prices against approved tariffs, contracts, and billing schedules.
- Maintaining high levels of accuracy to reduce rejected claims and billing disputes.

- Ensuring billing documentation is accurate and complete.

- Following up on outstanding debtor accounts.
